
Article No.2. A brief introduction to how whisky is made
It all starts with barley, which is the main ingredient in whisky. There are only a few that are used by most distilleries but there are many more types that can be used. It is unclear how much of an impact the type make on flavour. I believe that different types must have a notable impact on flavour, but I am not an expert.
